Me and Butter taken when he was exactly 7 months old, now 8 months..

This is a shot of me and my male mostly Golden Retriever Butter he also has some Yellow Lab in him from his Grandfather and Great Grandfather..but really trends to the Golden Retriever side as you can see... Getting him from my long time friends George Leary and Emmeretti Marks is the best thing I've done in many years...

He is very friendly and loving and we are fortunate to have both a brook nearby with a deep pool for short swims and the Esopus Creek a shallow river in fact, nearby as well, he really charges in there to retrieve sticks, more the size of logs, it his favorite place, we take long walks and he runs free off the leash at the Esopus Creek and at times a nearby dog park when conditions permit..

George and Emmeretti who sang with Jimi Hendrix and the Rolling stones among many others are in Ashland NY and are true dog lovers their compound is designed for the dogs they keep and a great source for inexpensive wonderful Yellow Lab mix or Pure Golden Retrievers as well...

I can never thank them enough for trusting Butter named for my old friend and mentor Paul Butterfield to me this past Easter Sunday...I love him more than I can express...
